Privacy
ControlMapping has no accounts and no advertising, and it doesn't sell personal data. It uses Google Analytics to learn which pages are read.
What is processed
- Hosting: the site runs on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Visit counts: Cloudflare Web Analytics, a small script served by Cloudflare, counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. We see only totals, such as page views and countries.
- Google Analytics: Google Analytics 4 shows us which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It sets cookies on this site (_ga and _ga_…, kept for up to two years) and sends Google the pages you view, how you arrived, your browser and device type and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google says Google Analytics 4 doesn't log or store IP addresses. Google processes this data under its privacy policy, possibly outside your country, including in the United States. You can block it with a content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on.
- Stored in your browser only: your light or dark theme and the frameworks you choose to show in the coverage matrix. These stay on your device and are never sent to us.
- Fonts and all other files come from this site. Apart from our host, Cloudflare, the only outside service a page contacts is Google Analytics.
