민감도와 중요도에 따라 데이터를 분류합니다.
데이터 분류은 NIST CSF 2.0의 ID.AM-05 (Assets are prioritized based on classification, criticality, resources, and impact on the mission); ID.AM-07 (Inventories of data and corresponding metadata for designated data types are maintained) 결과들로 정의됩니다. 대응표 ISO 27001, CIS v8.1, 800-53 및 NIS2의 공개 크로스워크를 통해 매핑됨. 편집 콘텐츠 SOC 2, PCI DSS, CMMC, DORA 및 CPS 234에 편집 방식으로 매핑됨. 데이터 분류는 정보 자산에 공개, 내부, 기밀, 제한과 같은 민감도 수준을 부여하여, 데이터의 가치와 규제 요구사항에 따라 조직이 적절한 수준의 보안 통제를 적용할 수 있도록 합니다. 잘 구현된 분류 체계는 데이터 수명 주기 전반에 걸쳐 암호화, 접근 통제, 보존 정책, 취급 절차에 관한 결정을 주도합니다. 조직은 명확한 레이블링 표준을 수립하고, 직원에게 분류 책임에 관한 교육을 실시하며, 분류 정책을 일관되게 시행하기 위해 데이터 탐색 및 DLP 솔루션과 같은 자동화 도구를 활용해야 합니다.
